Donald Trump is a real-estate mogul, nothing new. He has recently sold one of his homes in Rancho Palos Verdes for $7.15 million. The home is a Mediterranean style 11,000 square foot mansion located on Trump National Golf Course. He tried to sell the home last year and had it listed at $12 million.

Missing Footage of Steve Jobs?

Missing footage of an interview with Steve Jobs that took place in 1996 has recently been uncovered and will be the basis of a documentary film. The footage shot in 1996 was  a little over an hour long and only about 10 minutes of which was used. This documentary will be shown in theaters around the country.

Where is Zuckerberg doing his recruiting?

Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook during his college days at Harvard University. He seems to be drawn back to the east coast for the purposes of recruiting new talent. “If I were starting now, I would have stayed in Boston, Silicon Valley is a little short-term focused, and that bothers me.” Boston is said to be deep with talent when it comes to technology. Two billionaires dropped out of college to pursue such careers (Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg).

Why isn’t Bill Gates Getting More Recognition?

With the passing of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates is getting pushed onto the back burner. Steve Jobs was a great man and a great CEO but what about Bill? Bill Gates and his wife do a great deal for society with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and he should not be forgotten. “It certainly is time to acknowledge that devoting billions of dollaons of dollars of his own money in an attempt to cure malaria and other diseases that plague the developing world is at least as important as inventing the iPad.” 

Steve Jobs Home Greeted by Trick-or-Treaters

Around 50 children and their parents stood in front of the home of Apple co-founder steve Jobs. At the entrance of the home, three women positioned behind a table handed out small bags of candy to the children. It just goes to show what kind of person Steve Jobs was and a testament to the type of people he surrounded himself with. Even after his passing, he still is giving back to the community.

Many ask, was Bill Gates’ success due to luck? Bill Gates was born in a upper middle class family and went to a college where he had access to computers. He started writing programs at a relatively early time and sacrifieced many meals and many hours of sleep to perfect his program writing abilities. So was he Lucky? Good? Both? none of the above, he was simply a hard worker.

Donald Trump Cracks Jokes about Occupy Wall Street Protestors

Donald Trump, a real estate mogul and self-made billionaire cracked some jokes about the protestors on Wall Street making such claims as “they don’t know why they’re there” and “I want to know who their tailors are”. He also made remarks referring to the protestors being there only to have a good time. For a man contemplating on running for president, I’m not so sure these remarks have given him any sort of strategic advantag. According to C. Wright Mills, some of the qualities that make people famous are “Talent – which seems to mean their appearance value and their skill combined into what is known as A personality” (The Power Elite, 75).

Still don’t think Jay-Z is a Legitimate Businessman?

Jay-Z will be partaking in a new animated series called Secret Millionaires Club . His character will play a business professional promoting financial literacy for kids. This series will also feature Warren Buffet who takes on the role of an adviser to a group of “entrepreneurial kids”. To quote C. Wright Mills, “celebrities are earning sizeable income by not only working on, but virtually living on, the mass media of communication and distraction” (The Power Elite, 74).
