“The Top 2 Percent”

Back in 1953, Cholly Knockerbocker published a list of the top 399 people in which he felt “represented the aristocracy of achievement in this country” (PG. 76, The Power Elite). In today’s society we typically view the people who are most successful as “The Top 2 Percent“. This “Top 2 Percent” has caused great controversy due to issues with them making up the bulk of the financial wealth in this country.
